Rock Your Hair with the Coolest Catwalk Trends!

LONG BRAIDS

Whether you're off to the beach or you just want to keep your hair off your face, you'll be pleased to hear that braids are very much in fashion. They're tighter, more structured and closer to the nape of the neck. You can even pull braids back, to the side or have them coiled low at the back to feel fabulous.

Get the look: Wash your hair with a texturising product, such as a dry shampoo and apply a little volumising shampoo along with it. When plaiting, keep the braid tight, as it will loosen naturally throughout the day. Finish with hairspray to tame unwanted flyaways.

SLEEK & POLISHED

Smooth glossy hair never goes out of fashion so follow the latest catwalk models for a cool look and stir up some attention with deep partings, top knots, low ponies and half-up, half-down styles.

Get the look: Use a hydrating shampoo and conditioner with a UV filter to get your hair in tip-top condition. With a hairdryer, straighten locks in sections to get rid of kinks. Straighten and brush at the same time so it's super sleek, and finish with a hair oil for added gloss.

MICRO FRINGES

Stand out from the crowd with eye-catching baby bangs (short fringes). They're contemporary and flattering for any age and can work with all hair textures. Adding space between your eyebrows and fringe can help elongate the face especially if it's round.

Get the look: After having the chop, keep your fringe looking good by applying a protein hair cream sparingly from root to tip. This will create texture and add movement too.

SHORT BOBS

A whole range of bobs in varying lengths are as popular as ever! However, in 2019, it's time to be bold and daring with a dramatic super-short crop! Whether you have thick or fine hair, you'll create plenty of depth and dimension, and there are styles galore to choose from.

Get the look: Short, stylish and versatile, if you want to rock a super short bob, you must first consider your hair texture. If your hair is really thick, ask your stylist to thin it out as much as possible and style with a centre parting and sleek finish to be different.

SPLASH OF COLOUR

It comes as no surprise that warm chocolate brown is one of the most preferred hair colours for women. So, natural -looking brunette in various shades such as chestnut or russet incorporating dark blonde is the colour to be seen sporting this year.

HAIR ACCESSORIES

Not only have they made a comeback, but hair accessories are a great way to add glamour to your hairstyle, even with a short crop. Diamanté hair comb pins, sparkly headbands, sophisticated tiaras all add that extra bling and don't forget to check out hair rings, the new hot trend to make your hair stand out, and hair coils which are perfect for thin braids and twists.

So there you have it! Say goodbye to last year's locks and shake up your style.
