The Ultimate Sri Lankan Skincare Routine

If you’re a skincare junkie, you know there is nothing more satisfying than finding the right set of products for you. Being a sucker for all things skin, I do my share of in-depth research in finding the perfect match for me (and my bank account)  but I’m often skeptical about how well the international brands would work with the island weather and local skin types.

With COVID-19 changing the game of the local economy, it is very important that we support our homegrown businesses. When it comes to skincare, local works best for most of us.

So, nourish yourself with Sri Lankan skin and hair recipes that have passed down from generations of skincare addicts!

Here’s a list of skin and hair care brands you can use to curate your own Sri Lankan skincare routine!

1. Coast Botanic

Started off with simple sugar scrubs, they now produce an array of skincare products from powdered masks, cleansers, face mists and different types of scrubs (face and body). They often use organic honey, coconut oil, turmeric, moringa, coffee and other goodness in their products. Coast swears by keeping their products 100% clean with no harmful chemicals included in their list of ingredients which makes them safe to use on skin types.

With their ultra-chic packaging and proven to be effective products, what’s not to love about this brand?
