Colombo Social The Sydney-siders ladling social justice

Initiated with the sole intention of providing opportunities for refugees and asylum seekers, ‘Colombo Social’ founders Shaun Christie-David and Peter Jones-Best step up to the plate during the pandemic. United by their commitment to social change and impact along with a mutual love for brinjal pickle, Australian born Sri Lankan Shaun Christie-David and fellow Australian Peter Jones-Best joined forces to launch Colombo Social, a new Sri Lankan restaurant in Sydney. The duo wanted to use food as a way to not only showcase amazing Sri Lankan cuisine in Sydney but also do good for vulnerable communities at the same time.
