The Ambassador of France to Sri Lanka and the Maldives Jean-François Pactet hosted the
French National Day at Galle Face Hotel. Nimal Siripala de Silva, Minister of Ports and Shipping and Aviation was the Chief Guest. A number of ministers and distinguished guests attended the event. The year 2023 also marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and France.
