Pretty in Pink based in Canada organised their second charity fundraising event by way of an Exhibition Cricket Match held at the Toronto Cricket Club. Gracing the occasion were two legends from the 1996 ICC World Cup Winning Team: Roshan Mahanama and Chaminda Vaas and former Miss Universe Sri Lanka; Ornella Gunesekere. A friendly match was followed by a social gathering with DJ music, a sumptuous buffet lunch, presentations of awards and an auctioning of a souvenir bat autographed by the 1996 World Cricket Champs. The funds from this event will be donated in support of children’s cancer.
